Play nice. Meet people.
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use and End User License Agreement (“Terms”) are between you and Sutro Software GmbH, Industriestrasse 47, 6300 Zug, Switzerland (UID CHE-144.908.537). By accepting these Terms or using Minglet on iPhone, Android, or the web, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Participants are asked to accept these Terms before accessing participant features; sign-in may first create a private, unpublished account record. Permission to share information with AI providers is a separate choice. If you don’t agree, don’t use Minglet.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 16 and invited to a participating conference. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and don’t impersonate anyone or use profile sources (such as a LinkedIn URL) that aren’t yours.
3. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Minglet. You must not post, send, or share content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, spam, illegal, or that infringes others’ rights, and you must not stalk, intimidate, or pressure anyone, online or at the event.
- Report and block: you can report or block any person from their profile or chat. Blocked users can no longer see you, match with you, or message you.
- Our response: we review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours, removing the content and suspending or permanently ejecting users who violate these Terms. We may inform the conference organizer and, where required, the authorities.
- We may filter content and remove anything at our discretion, without notice.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display it to operate Minglet (including sending it to our AI provider for Pip). You’re responsible for your content.
We screen new profiles, messages and event information for prohibited wording. Automated filters can make mistakes; contact support if something was blocked incorrectly. You can report a specific message and choose to share that message with the event organizer for review.
5. AI-generated content (Pip)
Pip and other features use AI to generate introductions, conversation starters, event answers, interest suggestions, and search results, in shared chats and your personal Pip chat. Meeting suggestions from Pip are drafts: you must review and send a proposal, and the other attendee must accept before a meeting is confirmed. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, doesn’t reflect the views of Minglet or the people you match with, and isn’t professional advice. Check sources before relying on it, and report problematic output. Don’t use Pip to create objectionable content.
6. Meeting people
Minglet helps you arrange meetings but doesn’t screen users. Meet in public venues and use your judgment. We aren’t responsible for the conduct of any user on or off the service.
7. License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Minglet apps on devices you own or control. Don’t reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse the service or its APIs. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; Apple is not a party to these Terms, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and isn’t responsible for claims relating to the app, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
8. Termination
You can delete your account any time (see Support). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. Disclaimers and liability
Minglet is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to CHF 100. Nothing limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Zug, Switzerland, the registered seat of Sutro Software GmbH, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that give you the right to sue at your place of residence.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept them. Questions or reports: support@minglet.app.
